Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program is designed to help patients improve their health and overall feeling of well-being through regular exercise sessions and health education. Our goal is to help patients manage chronic disease and reduce risk factors for future problems.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital's program consists of a multidisciplinary team, which includes a board certified cardiologist, registered nurses, physical therapists, and dietitians, that develops personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.

We treat the following cardiac conditions:

  • Heart attack
  • Angina
  • Cardiac surgery, such as coronary bypass or valve surgery
  • Coronary artery angioplasty or stents
  • Heart failure

Participants learn effective breathing techniques that can improve their activity tolerance and endurance.

  • Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COPD)

  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Pulmonary fibrosis
  • Interstitial lung disease
