Frisbie Memorial Hospital, part of HCA New England Healthcare, has added a second location for its short-term outpatient partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Gilford, NH. Located at 14 Maple St., Suite #100, the program aims to help adults (age 18 and older) develop and incorporate new strategies for managing stress, anxiety, depression and other behavioral health symptoms.

“Frisbie Memorial Hospital recognizes the need for expanded behavioral health services in the greater Gilford community, and we’re proud to offer an outpatient program that provides a team approach to care, helping adult patients achieve behavioral wellness goals in a private and comfortable environment,” said Tom Bowden, chief executive officer of Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

The PHP program offers a structured group therapy-oriented treatment setting from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing ongoing intervention and support. Additional services include diagnostic consultation and recommendations, one-on-one check-ins with a medication provider to help evaluate and manage medications, as well as individual, family and group therapy sessions.

Patients admitted into the PHP program receive care from social workers, registered nurses and medication providers, all within the framework of an individualized treatment plan.

Individuals seeking adult outpatient PHP services can schedule an appointment online for either the Rochester or Gilford locations. No referral is required.

People experiencing anxiety, depression or other forms of distress can contact Frisbie Memorial Hospital to determine if the PHP would be an appropriate course of treatment. The PHP program at Gilford can be reached at (603) 832-7190.
