HCA New England Healthcare has appointed Haley Biggers as chief financial officer (CFO) of its Seacoast Market, which includes Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Biggers comes to the Seacoast from the HCA Healthcare TriStar Division, where she served as CFO and interim chief executive officer for TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn.

At TriStar NorthCrest, Biggers led the financial strategy as the hospital realized remarkable improvement in financial performance. She also oversaw substantial capital improvement projects as the hospital expanded its services to meet the needs of the community. Previously, Biggers served as associate chief financial officer at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., in addition to successive leadership roles at TriStar Greenview including serving as co-ethics and compliance officer.

“Haley and I have successfully worked together for many years, and I’m excited to have her join us in the New Hampshire Seacoast market,” said Sean Patterson, chief executive officer of Portsmouth Regional Hospital. “This is a time of significant growth for HCA Healthcare in New Hampshire, and I’m confident that Haley’s extensive financial experience, as well as her compassion and consideration for colleagues and patients alike, will make her a wonderful addition to our market.”

Biggers earned both an MBA and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. She also has served on the boards of directors for the White House (Tennessee) Area Chamber of Commerce and the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green.
